Former Formula 1 driver Ralf Schumacher has scored his first point in Sunday's race at the Nurburgring, round seven in the DTM championship. The 33-year-old German finished in eighth position in the wet with his 2007 Mercedes C-class.
Schumacher kept his head cool in the difficult track conditions. Speaking about his best result in DTM so far the German commented: "A great result. I am really happy that I scored my first DTM point and this in such difficult conditions. It was an exciting race and everything was possible today. I thank my team - everybody did a great job."
